Further to my previous email, this is to update you on the resurfacing works on the A30/A272 Andover Road junction.
Unfortunately, shortly after starting on Friday night, the plant supplying the surfacing material suffered a breakdown, and we were not able to finish the works on A30 London Road as we had hoped.
Therefore, we will be returning on Wednesday 21st October, for 1 night, to complete the works. During which time the A272 Andover Road/A30 London Road junction will be closed to vehicular traffic from approximately 20:00 – 06:00hrs. The road will be open during the day.
The information signs advising road users of the works will be updated. A further email will be sent to Test Valley Borough Council and Barton Stacey Parish Council to advise them accordingly.
