Dear Customer

Work is currently scheduled to start on Monday 15 February for five weeks.

For the safety of our workforce and customers, narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit will be in place on the westbound carriageway for the full duration of the works.

In addition, we will need to close the A303 westbound carriageway from the A34 Bullington Cross to Barton Stacey overnight (9pm to 6am, Monday to Friday nights only).

During the closures, a signed diversion will direct traffic to exit at Bullington Cross, travel via the A30 to Stockbridge, then north on the A3057 towards Andover to re-join the A303. Temporary traffic lights will be in place on the sharp bend at Fullerton/The Mayfly pub to assist diverted traffic.

Local residents along the A303 will be able to join the A303 westbound at Barton Stacey, Bransbury and Longparish.

Please note that the works are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. We’ll advertise closures on yellow signs placed in advance alongside the A303.

We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience or disruption you may experience during this work.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to know about our work, please contact us on 0300 123 5000 or email info@highwaysengland.co.uk

Yours faithfully
